( 1899- 1982) Gandhi’s per­sonal sec­re­tary in his later years.

Sushila Na­yar

( 1914- 2000) Pyare­lal’s younger sis­ter who was Gandhi’s per­sonal physi­cian. She later be­came Union health min­is­ter twice.

Mridula Gandhi aka Manuben

( 1929- 1969) Gandhi’s grand­niece and com­pan­ion in his last two years.

Kanu Gandhi

( 1917- 1986) Gandhi’s nephew, be­came his per­sonal pho­tog­ra­pher.

Dev­das Gandhi

( 1900- 1957) Gandhi’s fourth and youngest son, an em­i­nent jour­nal­ist in the early 1950s.

Abha Gandhi

( 1927- 1995) Gandhi’s other con­stant com­pan­ion apart from Manuben. She was the wife of his nephew Kanu.

Bibi Am­tus­salam

( Died in 1958) A Pun­jabi Mus­lim fol­lower of Gandhi.

Kishore­lal Mashruwala

( 1890- 1952) A close as­so­ciate of Gandhi.

Am­rit­lal Thakkar

( 1869- 1951) Pop­u­larly known as Thakkar Bapa, a so­cial worker who was as­so­ci­ated with both Gandhi and Gopal Kr­ishna Gokhale.
