The Ceramic Centre at Anandagram is a calm oasis offering refuge from the scorching sun. Fledgling potters coax shapes out of moist clay on the wheel, while hundreds of such creations jostle for space on the shelves. Some have just been fired, and others are finished artworks. At the Ceramic Centre, muddy hands soothe the soul.
SPIN CLASS The workshop is organised by Sanskriti Kendra and Delhi Blue Pottery Trust and is open to any- one above 17 years of age. You also have the flexibility of choosing two days a week for three- hours each, the workshop continues for three months. You begin with the basics and learn how to centre, lift and shape clay. Then go on to learn advanced techniques. The best part is you can take your creations back home.
