1990 INS AN­DAMAN

Sinks af­ter leak in Bay of Ben­gal. 15 crew die. Com­mand­ing Of­fi­cer ( CO) court- mar­tialled.

2004 INS A GRAY

Corvette sinks af­ter faulty rocket ex­plodes near it. CO court- mar­tialled. Ship later re­built as patrol boat.

2006 INS PRA­HAR

Amis­sile corvette, it sinks af­ter night col­li­sion with mer­chant ship. CO court- mar­tialled.

2011 INS VIND­HYA­GIRI

Fri­gate, drone con­trol ship. Sinks af­ter day­time col­li­sion with mer­chant ship. In­quiry in progress.

2013 INS SIND­HU­RAK­SHAK

Front­line sub­ma­rine. Ex­plodes and sinks in naval dock­yard. 18 crew killed. In­quiry con­vened.
