India Today - - MAIL -

It is quite unfortunate that a century- old political party like Congress, which spearheaded the independence movement, is plagued by never- ending instances of corruption (“In- Law or Outlaw?”, August 26). Robert Vadra’s dubious land deals raises questions about the integrity of the first family of the party, the Gandhis. The party should act immediately to cleanse its image and take action against those involved in corruption. Otherwise, they will face the music in the forthcoming elections.

RANJAN SINHA, via email Robert Vadra’s land deals have become a major source of shame for the Congress party and its president Sonia Gandhi. It will be interesting to see what stand the party takes.
