Just be­fore tak­ing ill on Au­gust 26, Congress Pres­i­dent So­nia Gandhi de­liv­ered a rare speech in Lok Sabha in de­fence of the Food Se­cu­rity Bill, but she got lis­ten­ers con­fused with the pro­nun­ci­a­tion of the word sadan. She pro­nounced it saadan, and used it six times— four times to mean the House and twice to sig­nify re­sources. Ja­nar­dan Dwivedi, please clar­ify.
