JAN­UARY 2 Chief Jus­tice of In­dia Al­ta­mas Kabir inaugurates fast track courts to try sex­ual of­fence cases against women. JAN­UARY 22 The case is given to a fast track court. JAN­UARY 28 Ju­ve­nile Jus­tice Board con­firms that one of the ac­cused is mi­nor. FE­BRU­ARY 2 Delhi Po­lice files chargesheet against the five men, slap­ping mur­der, rape, kid­nap­ping and other charges. AU­GUST 31 Mi­nor con­victed of gang rape and mur­der, given three years’ term at a pro­ba­tion home. SEPTEM­BER 10 Court con­victs Mukesh, Vi­nay, Ak­shay and Pawan of 13 of­fences in­clud­ing gang rape, mur­der of the girl and at­tempt to mur­der her male friend.
