A‘ Young’ one for Punjabi cinema

Joining the bandwagon of ‘ new age’ Punjabi films is Young Malang that released on September 20 worldwide. Produced by Chandigarh- based Rahul Sidhu Group Studios, Young Malang boasts of a star cast including Yuvraj Hans, son of famed Punjabi singer, Hans Raj Hans and Bollywood actress Anjana Sukhani, who marks her debut in Pollywood with this film. “It's a free- spirited and youth- oriented film that traces the lives of six youngsters, who enter college, make friends and foes. We have focussed on real situations, thereby bringing out emotions that you and I have encountered during our college days,” says Rahulinder Singh Sidhu, the producer of Young Malang. The movie has been extensively shot in Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh.
