Canada’s Schulich School of Busi­ness will open its doors in Septem­ber to 40 MBA stu­dents in Hy­der­abad as part of a new twin­ning ar­range­ment be­tween the Schulich and GMR School of Busi­ness, an ed­u­ca­tional ini­tia­tive of GMR Var­alak­shmi Foun­da­tion of the GMR Group. Stu­dents who pur­sue this course will get the chance to spend one year at the Hy­der­abad cam­pus and the sec­ond year at Schulich’s Toronto cam­pus. Schulich’s own fac­ulty will teach all of the cour­ses in Hy­der­abad, as well as in Toronto. Schulich’s ties with In­dia go back more than 20 years. The school has had ex­change agree­ments with a num­ber of man­age­ment schools, in­clud­ing the In­dian In­sti­tute of Man­age­ment ( IIM) Ahmed­abad, IIM Ban­ga­lore, and the In­dian School of Busi­ness ( ISB) in Hy­der­abad. In 2005, Schulich also opened an in­ter­na­tional satel­lite cen­tre in Mum­bai. Look­ing ahead, the school has plans to of­fer an Ex­ec­u­tive MBA pro­gramme at the Hy­der­abad cam­pus be­gin­ning as early as 2015.

Course du­ra­tion: Stu­dents can com­plete the course in two years, spend­ing each year at a dif­fer­ent cam­pus.
