This year the Business Today Best B-schools Survey, in partnership with Marketing & Development Research Associates, is based on the results of three separate methodologies.
An objective survey that ranks B-schools based on the data they submit was given 50 per cent weightage. The survey looks at living and learning experience, admission process and placement records.
A perception survey based on the opinions of students, faculty and recruiters from both industry and academia was given 40 per cent weightage. The experts consulted included 369 students, 110 deans and directors, 312 alumni members and 300 student recruiters.
For the first time, an experiential survey of 10 per cent weightage was included taking into account the views of alumni. A questionnaire was sent to alumni members and they were asked to rank their school’s contribution to their career and whether their degree actually met market expectations.
