Eureska, which in Greek means “to dis­cover” is Sandy Singh’s new­est restau­rant, that prom­ises to make Puneites re­dis­cover the cui­sine and sig­na­ture dishes of the Hel­lenic Repub­lic. Done up in the typ­i­cal Mediter­ranean palate of white and blue, the restau­rant-lounge has a ca­sual feel with a cen­tre is­land bar, a lounge area, a pri­vate din­ing sec­tion and a stage for live acts. The menu is dom­i­nated by Greek food with a sprin­kling of Span­ish, Ital­ian and French del­i­ca­cies. Chef Ajay Thakur has given Greek sta­ples a twist. Ho­ri­atiki, a ‘peas­ants’ salad’ is served on pita with a block of fresh feta. Meat lovers should go for the Sou­vlaki, which is meats on skewer served with a va­ri­ety of dips. If you want warm com­fort food, ask for the Ko­to­soupa Av­gole­mono. The ap­pe­tiz­ers are ex­ten­sive with am­ple veg­e­tar­ian and non­veg­e­tar­ian choices.
