Admire the richness of colours in the works of artists, from Gond and Bhil. Adivasi motifs and forms tell the tales of the land, the forest and of the village life. Many of the artists show how development has brought with it its own character, changing the nature of the village life. While Bhuri Bai’s work juxtaposes the traditions of the village with modern realities like an aeroplane flying overhead, Durga Bai too dwells on their changing times. Moving away from the bright colours of tribal motifs, Venkat’s work is almost contemporary.
