Haryana Chief Minister
Bhupinder Singh Hooda is keen on projecting himself as Congress’s answer to Narendra Modi. He plans to showcase his organisation skills at a rally that he promises will be “bigger and better” than anything Modi and BJP have staged so far. Hooda’s Haryana Shakti Rally at Sonepat on November 10 will be held on a 500-acre spread. Orders have also been placed for thousands of metres of pink fabric for distribution as
dupattas and pagris. Hooda’s only problem now is getting Sonia and Rahul Gandhi there. Preoccupied with Assembly polls in other states, neither leader may be available to behold Hoodaji’s ‘sea of pink’.
