Check out what’s new in town

Meaty affair

Barely a month old, this newly opened diner in GK-II has already become the talk of the town. It is not just the unique Afrian-European cuisine that is drawing people to it, but also the buzz about celebrity chef Guy Clarke (MasterChef South Africa’s finalist) and their beautiful upper deck, which makes for an ideal outdoor meal this season. Our journey at Uzuri Deck and Dining began with a complimentary bread basket accompanied by a selection of butters. Our starter Filo cocoon, served with mango mint salsa, parma ham topped with a mild summer vodka dressing didn’t impress us much. For mains, we tried the much talked about African Spiced Leg of Lamb served with braised radish and caramalised onion. Claimed to be cooked for over 48 hours, the meat was soft and tender and ready to be called a winner. We ended our meal with Star anise cream served with caramelised satsuma; not too sweet or creamy.

Meal for two Rs 2,000 At M-40, GK-II
