Might of White
There’s no limit to the wonders of technology. Taking it to new heights, Switzerland-based architects Michael Hansmeyer and Benjamin Dillen burger have come up with an enclosed structure that is completely 3D-printed out of sandstone. Titled Digital Grotesque, the 3.2-metre high and 16-sq metre large all-white room is composed of customised algorithms and is neatly divided into two halves. The intricate design process tries to strike a balance between the expected and the unexpected due to the innumerable twists and turns it takes and the quirky shapes that entice onlookers to delve inside and get a first-hand account.
