QUITE A MOUTHFUL

BJP leader Arun Jaitley is a known foodie. His conversations with journalists often revolve around politics, food and cricket. As he stepped out of the party’s election committee meeting on March 15, he was followed by a few journalists. All other questions he safely deflected but when a journalist asked Jaitley if he was contesting from Amritsar, he said: “The food in Amritsar is delicious.” Later that evening, the party announced that Jaitley would contest from the seat. Sometimes, the way to a man’s constituency is through his stomach.
