PAINTING THE TOWN RED

India Today - - BUZZ - By Prachi Sibal

It’s time for all make-up lovers in the city to rejoice, for the multi-brand French cosmetic store, Sephora, has opened its doors, and fashionistas are queuing up to score exclusive international make-up. You might want to head there on a quiet morning so that you can spend some time browsing rows and rows of lip colours to pick the shade that suits you best. Let us warn you, Sephora’s in-house brand aisles are the most crowded at the moment, but quite worth the wait.

While make-up is the larger focus, the store has quite an extensive range of bath and body products, fragrances and some grooming accessories as well. A tiny shelf makes up the men’s collection; the store is clearly only for women. Sephora also marks the foray of wellknown popular international brands in the Indian market such as Soap & Glory and Cover FX. However, don’t be too excited too soon for they cost no less than that on the e-commerce sites.

The store is small but inviting and you could spend hours here browsing through a wide range of beauty products. We also like the smaller pocket-friendly items on offer, all from the in-house brand.
