Speaking Plainly

I firmly believe that Prime Minister Modi has given clear answers to all the questions being posed by the Opposition (‘ Black Money Has All Been Forced Out Into The Open’). Opposition parties need to see the positives in this unprecedented move— curbing black money and transforming the economy into a digital one, to ensure every transaction is accountable. Nobody can deny the fact that demonetisation has drawn resentment from all sections of society, but many still back the prime minister for his commitment to putting an end to black money and eradicating corruption. It would be better if the Opposition offered solutions to the defects that exist in the implementation of this path breaking move, rather than protesting it.
