The week in social media
@mitalisaran It was Yuge. Believe me. On January 20, Donald Trump was sworn in as the 45th president of the US. The Tweeter-in-Chief, ever incapable of stepping out of character into something less obnoxious, began by tweeting about how the inaugural crowd at his swearing-in was the biggest inaugural crowd ever (it wasn’t). His press secretary, Sean Spicer, spent his first press interface repeating that lie; and Kellyanne Conway, counselor to the president, defended it by calling it an ‘alternative fact’.
