We’ve been told that the only way to get over sleep de­pri­va­tion is to catch up on it later. New re­search sug­gests you can ‘bank’ sleep in ad­vance—an ex­tra two hours the night be­fore can ap­par­ently help one sur­vive an all-nighter.
