The Vinyl Records is a band of four women from the Northeast who have been performing together since 2010. Meanwhile, in deepest Karnataka, a new generation of Metalheads also seems to have fallen for black vinyl. Local heroes Kryptos released their last album, Burn up the Night, as an LP last year. You can buy it at the city’s metal-centric record store, Mahtobar, set up by the frontman of Dying Embrace (who also put out a vinyl LP in 2014).
