THE INDIAN BEATLES

India Today - - LEISURE -

Money may or may not buy you love, but a 1964 copy of the Beatles’ Can’t Buy Me Love could get you $1,500 (or so), if you happen to find it in mummy-daddy’s record stash. Between 1963 and 1965, the Parlophone label released some 30 Beatles 12” ‘singles’ on 78 RPM ‘mono’ records. It happened only in India; and as a result collectors are crazy for these recordings.
