Career Prospects: “Fashion companies need accessory designers in product development, buying, and merchandising roles. Sales, marketing and communication channels are also hiring designers. There has also been a rise in the number of entrepreneurs,” says Desai.
Skills Required “Customer understanding, practicality of use and construction, understanding of the market and reading the sell-through report are important,” he says.
