This sum­mer, Saini, 50, who has been tak­ing sto­ry­telling classes since 2005, plans to of­fer a unique work­shop ti­tled Global Cruise—a dis­cov­ery of three coun­tries in three dif­fer­ent con­ti­nents (Aus­tralia, Ar­gentina and Kenya). The work­shop will cover dif­fer­ent cul­tural high­lights through hands-on cook­ing, art and craft, lan­guage, sights and sounds, his­tor­i­cal and ge­o­graph­i­cal facts. “Folk tales that de­pict the true im­age of a coun­try will be shared with the chil­dren. Kenyan folk tales based on an­i­mals like the tor­toise, hare and ele­phant, leg­ends and con­tem­po­rary sto­ries from Ar­gentina and well known Aus­tralian abo­rig­ine folk­lore will com­prise the ses­sions,” she says. The sto­ry­teller adds that be­ing able to weave a mag­i­cal world to in­cul­cate cre­ativ­ity and lis­ten­ing skills, in­tro­duce new words and above all bring a smile to a child's face makes her fall in love with her job ev­ery­day.
