Sharda University (SU) is the only multi-discipline campus in the NCR. Founded in 1996 by Sharda Group of Institution, SU has over 21,000 students and 1,200 faculty members in their campus. “With students from 56 countries and different parts of India, we focus largely on research, design and innovation,” says Vice-chancellor Vijay Gupta. The university has over 180 courses in multiple disciplines. “We have many popular courses here. Engineering, Industrial design, Journalism and Mass Communication, Medicine, Dental Studies, Nursing are just to name a few,” he adds. SU offers B Tech in Computer Science, Mechanical, Biotechnology, B Com (Hons) in collaboration with Association of Chartered Certified Accountants Colleges (ACCA) university, India.
