Rel­a­tively young among the list of pri­vate uni­ver­si­ties in In­dia, Kalinga In­sti­tute of In­dus­trial Tech­nol­ogy (KIIT), es­tab­lished in 1992, has got an ex­cel­lent record in the field of in­no­va­tion and tech­nol­ogy. The in­sti­tute has a stel­lar place­ment record with 2,700 plus job be­ing of­fered to 2,258 B Tech stu­dents so far—the high­est CTC of Rs 26.80 lakh was of­fered by Directi; while the av­er­age CTC so far has been Rs 5 lakh for the aca­demic year 2017.
