Golf is so much like life—you're tested at ev­ery shot.

Who is She? Amandeep Drall is a shin­ing star in In­dia’s Golf hori­zon. She has rep­re­sented In­dia in var­i­ous in­ter­na­tional events like Malaysian Open (2013, 2014), Sin­ga­pore Open (2012), Thai­land Open (2014) and was a re­serve dur­ing the 2014 Asian Games held in South Korea.

Merit List In De­cem­ber 2016, she earned the Euro­pean tour card, which gave her full play­ing rights on the Euro­pean Ladies Tour (LET) held at Mar­rakech, Morocco. Drall was ad­judged the best In­dian at the qual­i­fiers with a sev­enth place. In 2016, she fin­ished sec­ond in or­der of merit on WGAI (Women's Golf As­so­ci­a­tion Of In­dia) and was ad­judged the player of the year, be­sides boast­ing of the year’s best stroke av­er­age.

The Dis­cov­ery In 2007, the then 14-yearold Drall had at­tended a sum­mer coach­ing camp at the Army Golf Course in Pa­tiala. The coach no­ticed that she was a nat­u­ral at the game. “He told my par­ents to buy me a golf set. I started play­ing over week­ends. All credit goes to my par­ents for al­low­ing me to give this ex­pen­sive sport a try,” she says.

The Adren­a­line Rush “I am a calm and pa­tient per­son, so this game re­ally suits my per­son­al­ity,” says Drall.

Next in Line Drall will be prov­ing her met­tle at the Honk Kong Open to be held in June this year.
