The jour­ney of Zo­mato’s founder and CEO Deepin­der Goyal of be­com­ing one of the most for­mi­da­ble play­ers in the food tech space in the world is a suc­cess story that has every­thing to in­spire any young­ster. A ven­ture that started out of a liv­ing room in 2008 by Goyal along with its co-founder and COO Pankaj Chad­dah to­day has over 2200 peo­ple and pres­ence in 24 coun­tries wherein they have the most com­pre­hen­sive con­tent.

FU­TURE PLANS Goyal’s ul­ti­mate goal is in a decade or two to be able to fa­cil­i­tate mil­lions, if not bil­lions of meals a day. “Over the next five years one of our or­gan­i­sa­tional goals is to build an en­gine that al­lows our users ac­cess to – an af­ford­able as­sort­ment of high qual­ity meals to eat out or or­der from. We are work­ing to­wards the idea of a kitchen-less world," says he.
