BHARAT KHA­TRI, 35 Ex­ec­u­tive Chef, The Kylin Ex­pe­ri­ence, Chandi­garh

No one in Bharat Kha­tri’s fam­ily has any con­nec­tion with the food in­dus­try, but since child­hood, he liked to help out his mother in the kitchen. And that is how his tryst with food be­gan. Once out of school, Kha­tri was sure he wanted to study culi­nary art. Af­ter grad­u­at­ing from IHM, Pusa, Delhi, he worked at var­i­ous restau­rants in Delhi. About four years ago he joined Kylin Ex­pe­ri­ence in Elante Mall, Chandi­garh as the Ex­ec­u­tive Chef. And ever since, he has been mak­ing Chandi­garh fall in love with Ori­en­tal cui­sine.
