Spresident Donald Trump recently added American-made whisky to his pet peeves with New Delhi. The earlier one, of course, being Harley-Davidson motorcycles, which Trump believes attracts very high Indian import tariffs. But the external affairs ministry has now learned to take Trump’s barbs in its stride. On the contrary, as one seasoned diplomat says, it is Trump’s silence that worries South Block more than his words.
