INITIATIVES UNDERTAKEN IN 2013
Dealer Management System (DMS) on private cloud for small dealers and service centers: There are around 1,500 small dealers in India and across the globe doing service of TVS vehicles. 40 percent of service volume is covered by these dealers. Our initiative of releasing this in-house ERP on the cloud has helped these dealers raise electronic job cards, submit and manage warranty claims, plan and sell spare parts and interact with customers on the mobile. Today, around 200 dealers use the system for their total business. We have already provided DMS for all the authorized main dealers numbering around 1,000. Applications for TVS Motor customers on smartphones to ensure seamless interaction with the company: These applications are housed in iOS, Android and Microsoft platforms and help vehicle users to plan and trace the service history. This utility function helps the customers to maintain vehicles regularly and provide evidence of good running condition. It also helps enhance the resale value. Innovative projects on business analytics: Customers are mapped on Google Maps, which brings visibility into the customer location. This information enables us to decide where our promotional activities should be focused. The mapping has been extended to retail, service flow, collection and default for credit business.
