A GANG of robbers with an eye for fashion is on the prowl in Delhi’s iconic retail hub Connaught Place. Three showrooms of top apparel brands have been looted of clothes, accessories and cash in two days, raising questions over security at the Colonialera shopping arcade.

At least 190 pairs of branded trousers and shirts were stolen from a US Polo showroom, while several expensive shoes were swiped from a Reebok store.

In the first incident, burglars struck at the Raymond outlet in A block early on Sunday morning and took away digital video

CCTV videos show three burglars breaking into a shop at 4.50am and searching for the cash box. They failed to find it and decamped with digital video recorders and some readymade garments.
