There couldn’t be a bet­ter way to cel­e­brate your week­end than by be­ing with the gor­geous, Numero Uno actress, Deepika Padukone. The glo­ri­ous diva, amidst pro­mot­ing Hap­pyNewYear, at­tend­ing Shah Rukh Khan’s birth­day party and join­ing the cast of Piku in Kolkata, took some time off to un­veil the Novem­ber edi­tion of Star­dust, the cover of which she graced. It was a packed house at Magna Lounge where Deepika was greeted with the loud­est cheer and claps as she walked in a lit­tle be­fore the mid­night to un­veil the is­sue with Nari Hira, Chair­man—Magna Pub­lish­ing Co. Ltd, Ram Ka­mal Mukher­jee, Edi­tor, Star­dust and the host of the evening, Ru­pali Suri. Be­ing the most real and straight­for­ward lady that she is, Deepika faced all the queries thrown at her by the me­dia fra­ter­nity with sheer aplomb. Right from her re­la­tion­ship with Ran­veer Singh, to work­ing with ex-beau Ran­bir Kapoor again, to her equa­tion with the me­dia af­ter the cleav­age con­tro­versy with the Bom­bay Times— Deepika an­swered all the queries with panache. When asked about her cover quote ‘Sal­man and I are like star- crossed lovers,’ Deepika couldn’t stop blush­ing and ad­mit­ted that she would love to work with the other Khan soon. While leav­ing Magna Lounge, Deepika was al­most mobbed by thou­sands of fans who were dy­ing to catch a glimpse of their most favourite actress. Well af­ter all, you don’t get to see the mil­lion- dollar girl too of­ten, do you?
