Ace director Rajkumar Hirani made a splash at the unveiling of the latest issue of StarWeek.
Slow ‘n’ steady seems to be director Rajkumar Hirani’s mantra when it comes to making films. And there’s no doubt that it’s a winning one! The dapper director gave the media an insight into his creative process when he arrived at Magna Lounge, Mumbai, to unveil the cover of StarWeek, which he had graced. Joining him on the dais were Nari Hira, Chairman, Magna Publishing Co Ltd; and Srividya Menon, Editor, StarWeek.
The magazine tagged him as ‘The Most Wanted Filmmaker’ which Srividya explained was because whenever the magazine asked the stars which director they would like to work with, his was the most repeated name. When asked how it felt, Raju—as he is popularly known—said that he was humbled and scared.
The media then took over... throwing a host of questions at him which he tackled with a smile. As the event came to a close, emcee Rupali Suri tried her best to wheedle out some information about his latest release PK. But Raju was mum and encouraged all present to watch the film.
