Magna House, Mumbai, was abuzz as the dash­ing Ran­deep Hooda ar­rived one fine evening to un­veil Man­date’s March 2015 cover, amidst a flurry of jour­nal­ists. Ran­deep, in what is per­ceived as one of his bold­est photo- shoots till date, seemed quite at ease pos­ing with a fe­male model on the cover that read: A Ra­zor Sharp Fo­cus on Star­dom. He, along with Man­date, in this spe­cial cel­e­bra­tory is­sue, applauds be­ing a man, in ev­ery sense of the term.

The event was kick- started by Ru­pali Suri, the host of the evening, with a brief in­tro­duc­tion of Mr Nari Hira, Chair­man of Magna Pub­lish­ing Group and Yu­vraj Juneja, Edi­tor, Man­date, who flanked the man of the mo­ment, Ran­deep Hooda, as they took the cen­tre stage. Amidst thun­der­ing ap­plause, the cover was fi­nally un­veiled to the me­dia, which in­stantly opened up a con­ver­sa­tion about how dif­fi­cult or easy it was to shoot for such a fea­ture. On be­ing asked by Ru­pali what he said to make the model feel com­fort­able, Ran­deep, in his char­ac­ter­is­tic tongue-and- cheek hu­mour, re­sponded, “Well, I don’t think any woman feels un­com­fort­able next to me. I even made Sunny Leone feel com­fort­able!” Ran­deep soon re­vealed that this was his sec­ond time on Man­date cover, though he ad­mit­ted that this was more cut­ting edge than the pre­vi­ous one. “How­ever, I want to know, is it just me or does Man­date throw ev­ery­one in a mix of hot women to test their pa­tience,” Ran­deep asked the edi­tor jok­ingly.
