In­no­va­tion in op­er­a­tions, value propo­si­tion to cus­tomers and cre­at­ing record vol­ume han­dling has made Adani Lo­gis­tics Ltd

– ICD PATLI the proud re­cip­i­ent of the In­land Con­tainer De­pot of the Year award. In spite the tough com­pe­ti­tion the ICD has im­proved its busi­ness in the re­gion, reg­is­ter­ing more than 33 per cent growth in FY2016-17. The ICD has seam­less con­nec­tiv­ity both on the east and the west coast to ports in­clud­ing Mun­dra, Pi­pavav, Hazira, JNPT, Kat­tupalli and Chen­nai. While most of the In­dian ports are blamed for high dwell time of cargo, the ICD has main­tained swift move­ment of cargo with an av­er­age dwell time of around 100 hours for ex­ports and av­er­age dwell time of 72 hours for im­ports. Turn­around time of trail­ers is a ma­jor fac­tor that re­flects upon the op­er­a­tional ef­fi­ciency of an

ICD and ICD Patli has en­sured to keep the trail­ers car­ry­ing exim cargo mov­ing fast with an av­er­age turn­around time of two and half hours. The ICD has mas­sive stor­age space with 5000 ground slots avail­able any­time for stor­ing con­tain­ers. A key in­di­ca­tor of the grow­ing busi­ness at the ICD is the high move­ment of con­tain­ers in and out. About 250 teus come into the ICD on a daily ba­sis and around 200 teus are moved out. The ICD has de­vel­oped state-of-the-art in­fra­struc­ture and equip­ment which has boosted its an­nual han­dling ca­pac­ity to 200,000 teus per anum. It also main­tains con­tainer yards with sep­a­rate en­try / exit points for ded­i­cated stor­age of cargo. A Cus­tom Bonded ware­house with 50,000 Sq. ft area, EDI On ICE GATE 1.5 and no­ti­fied for all cus­toms schemes is also made avail­able for the con­ve­nience of the exim com­mu­nity.
