The Com­merce Min­istry has pitched for a sin­gle

GST rate for mul­ti­modal trans­porta­tion of ve­hi­cles to im­prove lo­gis­tic ser­vices and re­duce the com­pli­ance bur­den on au­to­mo­bile man­u­fac­tur­ers. So­ci­ety of In­dian Au­to­mo­bile Man­u­fac­tures (SIAM) had ap­proached the lo­gis­tics de­part­ment of the Min­istry rais­ing is­sues faced by com­pa­nies due to lack of Dubai based Emi­rates Lo­gis­tics is fo­cus­ing on the high-po­ten­tial In­dian lo­gis­tics in­dus­try with a mis­sion to be a dom­i­nant player as it ex­pands its op­er­a­tion and net­work in all ma­jor busi­ness dis­tricts in In­dia. Emi­rates Lo­gis­tics will fo­cus on both First mile and Last mile lo­gis­tics along with ware­hous­ing and supply chain. In fact, they will be a 3rd party so­lu­tion for all the lo­gis­tics needs of customers. Emi­rates Lo­gis­tics comes with a proven ca­pa­bil­ity of suc­cess­ful op­er­a­tions with global giants like IKEA, Unilever, DAIKIN, Adi­das, etc. and is con­fi­dent of cre­at­ing re­la­tion­ships with many big brands in In­dia.
