Sky’s the limit

Paying homage to the shimmering night sky, the ‘NIRAV MODI’ Celestial Collection represents planets and other celestial bodies that revolve around central elements in grand orbits. The eternal shine of the universe is captured in this dreamy collection, for the woman adorning it to feel radiant in its glow. “Our collections are always inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds us. This time we looked skyward for inspiration,” says Nirav Modi. Celestial jewels represent a promise to always be there, just like stars; they are a symbol of eternal love. A spin on classic diamond jewellery, they feature solitaire diamonds surrounded by a halo of diamonds, mirroring the halo seen around the sun or moon when one gazes at the sky. Innovative craftsmanship ensures that the solitaire diamond is placed within the halo of diamonds without its metal “seat” being visible. The diamond is suspended from the sides making it float and allowing for the passage of utmost light. This structure, complemented by fine handiwork using minimal metal, makes the diamond look bigger and shine with maximum radiance. The organic and beautiful structure of the jewel adds to its multidimensional look and feel. From sourcing the solitaire diamonds to cutting and polishing the diamonds as well as the detailed craftsmanship by artisans, all steps are carried out in-house at ‘NIRAV MODI’ ensuring that the jewels are crafted to perfection. All jewels use GIA-certified solitaire diamonds and only diamonds with the top colours and clarities are selected. ‘NIRAV MODI’ also launched a sparkling ad campaign starring its global Brand Ambassador, Priyanka Chopra and featuring Bollywood heartthrob Sidharth Malhotra. The ‘Say Yes, Forever’ campaign celebrates the solitaire diamond engagement ring, defining its significance in context of love and commitment.
