South, West and North parts of the is­land, with amaz­ing views of the ocean and moun­tains. The set­tings vary be­tween a ‘gar­den’ course bor­der­ing a for­est, moun­tain­side in the heights of Sain­tDe­nis, and a 75hectare course on the south-west coast. The ‘Open de la Réunion’, which forms a part of the French Open ten­nis cham­pi­onships, will take place from 28 Novem­ber to 5 De­cem­ber 2015, over the three cour­ses.

The peo­ple of Re­union Is­land cel­e­brate this fest as a ma­jor event com­mem­o­rat­ing the abo­li­tion of slav­ery. Cel­e­brat­ing free­dom and cul­tural di­ver­sity, here is a fes­ti­val for ev­ery­one, aimed at high­light­ing the fun­da­men­tal val­ues of Re­union Is­land and other Vanilla Is­lands (Mau­ri­tius, the Sey­chelles, Mada­gas­car, the Mal­dives, May­otte and the Co­moros is­lands). This fest is a mark of re­spect, tol­er­ance, cul­tural di­ver­sity and a shared ex­is­tence. The event cel­e­brates the is­land’s roots, history and di­ver­sity, all of which its in­hab­i­tants are es­pe­cially proud. The fes­ti­val is spread over four days. And con­certs, ex­hi­bi­tions, food tast­ing and con­fer­ences set the pace for the fes­tiv­i­ties of this vi­brant ex­trav­a­ganza.
