Phys­i­cal ed­u­ca­tion pro­grams in schools BHnH­fit stuDHnts' phys­i­cal health as well as re­duce their aca­demic stress

A large num­ber of schools to­day have ini­tia­tives to pro­vide the best sports in­fra­struc­ture to en­cour­age sports ed­u­ca­tion Stud­ies show that phys­i­cal ac­tiv­ity im­proves con­cen­tra­tion lev­els as well as more com­posed be­hav­iour. Ac­tiv­i­ties in PE help chil­dren de­velop so­cial in­ter­ac­tions and learn the im­por­tance of vol­un­teer­ing, lead­er­ship, com­mu­nity en­gage­ment and al­tru­ism. Im­proved phys­i­cal health, aca­demics and so­cial in­ter­ac­tions all con­trib­ute to good men­tal health.

PE is es­sen­tial for the devel­op­ment of mo­tor skills--hand-eye co­or­di­na­tion, body move­ment which helps in the devel­op­ment of a healthy body pos­ture.

En­gag­ing in phys­i­cal ac­tiv­i­ties is a good way to re­lieve stress among stu­dents too.
