BRAWL BETWEEN RIVAL GROUPS TURNS UGLY, GUNSHOTS FIRED

GURUGRAM: Tension prevailed in Begumpur Khatoula, at the outskirts of Gurugram district, after violent clashes took place between two rival groups of miscreants. The altercatio­n between the two groups, which initially started over a Facebook post, took a violent turn on Wednesday afternoon when the two groups clashed with each other in the village. In the clashes, the windshield of several cars were broken after firing that took place by members of the groups who were embroiled in the feud. According to reports, the cops failed to pacify the situation. The police have launched a manhunt for the miscreants responsibl­e for gunshots. Following the violent clashes, the Gurugram Police also deployed some of its personnel to maintain law and order in the village. A case of inciting violence and firing gunshots has reportedly been filed at the Badshahpur Police station in the city.
