NDMC ORGANISES THREE-DAY ATHLETICS MEET FOR DIVYANG STUDENTS

New Delhi: New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has organised three-day “School Level Championship Athletics Meet” for Divyang at Talkatora Cricket ground from Wednesday. Declaring the meet opened, NDMC Vice Chairman Karan Singh Tanwar said that the sports and athletics meet not only inspire the students to participate in the physical activities but it provide an opportunity for all round development, happy and healthy life. He added that the importance of sports and physical activities for Divyang children must be underlined by strategic action at schools, local and regional levels. Secretary NDMC Chanchal Yadav informed that besides medals and merit certificates, three cash prizes of Rs 1,000, Rs 800 and Rs 500 will be awarded to the winners in each category.
