CM re­views Ch­hath Puja pre­pared­ness

NEW DELHI: Chief Min­is­ter Arvind Ke­jri­wal on Thurs­day or­gan­ised a re­view meet­ing over pre­pared­ness for the up­com­ing Ch­hath Puja at the Delhi Sec­re­tar­iat.

The meet­ing was at­tended by the Deputy Chief Min­is­ter Man­ish Siso­dia, Ir­ri­ga­tion and Flood Con­trol min­is­ter Gopal Rai, Rev­enue min­is­ter Kailash Gahlot, all MLAS and the Chief Sec­re­tary, in ad­di­tion to other se­nior of­fi­cials of Delhi Govern­ment.

The Ch­hath Puja would be per­formed this year at 457 ghats, as com­pared to last year’s 268 ghats. Of­fi­cials in­formed that all the ghats would be ready in two-three days’ time.

Ke­jri­wal asked of­fi­cials to en­sure that all ar­range­ments are done in time and up to the mark.

He asked them to en­sure that the peo­ple of­fer­ing Puja on the oc­ca­sion should not face any prob­lem.
