HYATT REGENCY AWARDED LEED PLATINUM
Hyatt Regency Delhi, the agship luxury ve-star property of in India has been certied as ‘Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design’ LEED Platinum by Green Business Certication (GBCI), the body that certies all LEED projects globally. With this honour, the Delhi property is the rst Hyatt hotel in over 700 properties across the world and one of the few hotels in Delhi to receive this esteemed certication.
During a special ceremony at the hotel, the internationally recognised LEED plaque and certicate were presented to Shiv Jatia, Chairman and Managing Director of Asian Hotels (North) by Gopalakrishnan P., Managing Director – Asia Pacic and Middle East, GBCI.
LEED is the foremost programme for the design, construction and operation of green buildings and provides a concise framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable design, construction, operations, and maintenance solutions. As a LEED Platinum 5-Star Hotel, Hyatt Regency Delhi is now recognised on the basis of excellence in sustainable design, water efciency, energy and atmosphere, material and resources, indoor environmental quality, and innovation in operations. The property is also committed to reducing light pollution.
