Government invites bids from CPSES for buying NPCC, HSCC, EPI
New Delhi: The government has invited bids from central public sector enterprises (CPSES) for buying its entire shareholding in consultancy firms National Projects Construction Corp. Ltd (NPCC), Hospital Services Consultancy Corp. Ltd (HSCC) and Engineering Projects (India) Ltd (EPI) as it looks to bring all advisory business under one outfit. Besides, the government wants to sell its 99.35% stake in Kolkata-based construction company Bridge & Roof Co. (India) Ltd, which is under the control of ministry of heavy industries and public enterprises.
The government wants to sell its entire 98.99% stake in NPCC and 100% each in HSCC and EIL, but only to central public sector undertakings (PSUS), according to a notice inviting bids. PTI
