Nau­sea makes it hard to drink enough, but get­ting de­hy­drated makes symp­toms worse. Suck­ing an ice cube or crunch­ing crushed ice de­liv­ers a slow drip­drip of liq­uid. And try tak­ing tiny sips of liq­uid through a straw to avoid trig­ger­ing nau­sea. Wa­ter is your best bet, but try dif­fer­ent tastes to tempt you too: flat cola and herbal teas are mum-to-be faves.
