CUR­RAE Gy­naec IVF Birthing hospi­tal re­cently con­ducted its sec­ond edi­tion of ‘Preg­nancy Car­ni­val’ on the oc­ca­sion of Women’s Day. The event saw a plethora of in­ter­est­ing in­fo­tain­ment ac­tiv­i­ties for ex­pect­ing moth­ers. Var­i­ous ac­tiv­i­ties rang­ing from fitness, med­i­ta­tion to self-pam­per­ing and food were held for preg­nant moth­ers. To help the ex­pec­tant mums have a safe preg­nancy, the car­ni­val held fitness ses­sions, diet ses­sion, fol­lowed by live med­i­ta­tion and sim­ple dance moves. Coun­ters like nail art, selfie-cor­ner with props and hy­gienic chaat counter added a fun el­e­ment. The car­ni­val also an­swered var­i­ous queries of the ex­pect­ing cou­ples rang­ing from fi­broids and its as­so­ci­ated risk with preg­nancy, weight loss in first trimester of preg­nancy, baby’s be­hav­iour and labour pain.
