HOW TO CREATE AN IDEAL ENVIRONMENT CONDUCIVE TO NURSING:

Mother & Baby - - BREASTFEEDING -

The first and foremost factor to consider while breastfeeding is to find a comfortable position. Use pillows to support your back. Make sure you keep the baby’s requirements like diapers and wipes handy so that you don’t need to run around. Breastfeed in a private, clean and quiet place with all the necessities close by. Dim the lights so that if your baby falls asleep while breastfeeding, he is not disturbed. Dr Jayaseelan says, “Always keep a bottle of water and some food items nearby as breastfeeding can make one feel hungry and thirsty.” Make sure you wear clothes that open down in the front. It will give your baby easy access, while keeping you warm.
