Puffi­ness un­der the skin of the scalp. The skin is swollen and soft. The swelling may be on one side or may ex­tend over the mid­line of the scalp. Some dis­coloura­tion or bruis­ing but not as ex­ten­sive as in cephalo­he­matoma. Your baby’s head will be slightly pointed once the swelling goes down. This is called mold­ing.
