Mother & Baby - - BUMP TO BIRTH -

“My gums were really swollen during pregnancy and bled badly when I brushed them. At first, I stopped brushing as much, because I was worried about the amount of blood – but after seeing my dentist, I found out that I needed to brush more.”

“I also asked what mouthwash was safe to use during pregnancy and was advised to use one that didn’t contain alcohol. I started to use one twice a day. Speaking to other women at my antenatal class made me realise how common bleeding gums is when you’re pregnant. Now I’ve given birth, my gums have gone back to normal.”
