Even the great­est of sleep­ers have off-nights, per­haps if she’s teething or has a cold. If your young­ster has a bad night or wakes up very early, let her have a morn­ing ‘flash nap’ when­ever she gets sleepy. A ‘flash nap’ is a short nap of 2030 min­utes to take the edge off her sleepi­ness. Keep the rest of her rou­tine as nor­mal.
